GAP, the clothing retailer which operates several well-known mall brands, launched its store credit card in 2007. Customers could use it at all locations that carry Old Navy, Banana Republic, Athleta or Intermix brands; as well as earning rewards points which could later be redeemed for merchandise or donated to charity. The card offered perks for regular shoppers who used it regularly while offering rewards points which can be redeemed against merchandise purchases or donated directly.
The Gap offers three credit cards that provide 5 Gap Rewards points per $1 spent at any Gap family of brands whether shopping in-store or online, such as their Gap Good Rewards credit card and two Gap Good Rewards Mastercard cards (one can be used anywhere MasterCard is accepted and one only at Gap family of brands). These include their Gap Good Rewards credit card as well as two Gap Good Rewards Mastercard cards (one accepted everywhere MasterCard is accepted and one only applicable at Gap family of brands).
Gap offers a rewards program that gives shoppers back a percentage of each purchase as hard cash. Although these reward dollars can only be redeemed at Gap stores and cannot be applied toward credit card payments, they quickly add up when shopping regularly. Signing up for Old Navy, Banana Republic and Gap email newsletters can also earn extra sales alerts and special offers!
GAP gap insurance can also help save you money – an optional extra you can purchase with car financing designed to cover any differences between what is owed on your loan and its true market value in case your vehicle gets totalled. The costs are typically included as part of the finance charge or APR calculation for your loan agreement.
