How to get Subway cashback, step by step

  1. Open Raise's Subway page and buy a gift card for the amount of your Subway order. The rate as we last read it was 5%. Posted to the Raise account when the gift card is bought, and rescinded if that purchase is refunded or cancelled for any reason.
  2. Pay for your Subway order with that gift card, the same way you'd use any Subway gift card.
  3. Buy only what you'll spend. The cashback is paid when you buy the card, and a card balance you never use is money parked at Subway, not savings.
  4. Get paid. Raise pays by: Raise Cash, posted to your Raise account each time you buy a gift card. It's redeemed at checkout on Raise toward any gift card or other product Raise sells, and Raise's catalogue includes a Prepaid Mastercard. Raise doesn't offer cash distribution, bank transfers or PayPal transfers. Minimum: None to redeem; Raise applies it at your next checkout. Gift cards must be bought for at least $5, and with more than $1,000 in Raise Cash on hand you have to redeem some before earning more. Timing: Posted on each gift-card purchase. Raise Cash expires 180 days after the day it was earned.

Subway cashback FAQ

Which portal pays the most for Subway cashback right now?

Raise, at 5%. That's the rate a returning shopper gets, which is how the table ranks: an "up to" ceiling or a new-customer rate never takes this spot over a lower rate everyone gets.

How long does Subway cashback take to pay out?

On a click-through portal there are two waits, one after the other: the portal has to confirm the order with Subway, which mostly tracks Subway's return window, and then the confirmed balance has to be paid out, which is the portal's own rule. Buying Subway's gift card through a portal skips the first wait: that cashback is paid when the card is bought.
