Adidas Cashback: Every Portal's Rate, Compared

The best Adidas cashback we found is 10% at Raise, read from Raise's own Adidas page.

How to get Adidas cashback, step by step

  1. Open Raise's Adidas page and buy a gift card for the amount of your Adidas order. The rate as we last read it was 10%. Posted to the Raise account when the gift card is bought, and rescinded if that purchase is refunded or cancelled for any reason.
  2. Pay for your Adidas order with that gift card, the same way you'd use any Adidas gift card.
  3. Buy only what you'll spend. The cashback is paid when you buy the card, and a card balance you never use is money parked at Adidas, not savings.
  4. Get paid. Raise pays by: Raise Cash, posted to your Raise account each time you buy a gift card. It's redeemed at checkout on Raise toward any gift card or other product Raise sells, and Raise's catalogue includes a Prepaid Mastercard. Raise doesn't offer cash distribution, bank transfers or PayPal transfers. Minimum: None to redeem; Raise applies it at your next checkout. Gift cards must be bought for at least $5, and with more than $1,000 in Raise Cash on hand you have to redeem some before earning more. Timing: Posted on each gift-card purchase. Raise Cash expires 180 days after the day it was earned.

Does adidas have its own cashback or rewards program?

Yes, adiClub, a real free membership program, though adidas.com itself refused every path tried this session (HTTP 403 on curl and on WebFetch, homepage included), so this section rests on what three portals' own editorial independently confirms about it rather than adidas's own page.

  • Free to join, with a real perks list. TopCashback's editorial: "Join adiClub, adidas' very own rewards program. With your adiClub membership, you can:" enjoy free standard shipping (no minimum purchase necessary) and free adidas returns, get a 15% off welcome bonus, enter members-only giveaways, unlock new products, and score deals from adidas' partner brands source. Price.com and Rakuten each confirm it's free independently: "the free adiClub loyalty program" source, "Sign up for the Adiclub, the free membership club, and you'll get free shipping with no coupon required." source.
  • How the points and levels work. "You'll earn points on every purchase, which can be converted later into a voucher. Once you achieve 1,000 points, you're treated to more perks, like exclusive adidas offers and a gift on your birthday." source. "The highest level you can reach is 4 (12,000+ points), which offers exclusive event access and a free 12-month premium membership to adidas' Running and Training apps." source.
  • The 15% figure, stated three different ways by three different sources. TopCashback frames it as a signup bonus twice: "Get a 15% off welcome bonus" source and, in its own FAQ, "It's easy—just sign up for adiClub with your email address and password, and you'll receive your 15% off code in your inbox." source. Rakuten's editorial ties the same figure to a different trigger entirely: "If you get to level two of the company's Adiclub, you'll be able to get the Adidas birthday discount. The discount gives you access to 15% off a single purchase made during your birthday month." source. Price.com lists it as a standing member benefit without naming a trigger: "15% off order for AdiClub members" source. We're not picking one of these as correct; treat the 15% as real but check adiClub's own account dashboard for which version actually applies when you join.
  • A real student discount and a real military discount, both 30%, neither run by a portal. "Yes, there's a 30% adidas student discount for college and university attendees, as well as recent graduates. Once you verify your student ID via UNiDAYS, you'll be able to collect your coupon." source. "Active members of the military, along with veterans, retirees, spouses and dependents can unlock a 30% off adidas discount code once a verification process is completed. This discount is valid on select full-price orders and may be used online, in stores and at factory outlets." source.

Put together: adiClub is free and pays real points toward a voucher, the 15% welcome or birthday figure is confirmed real but inconsistently explained across sources, and the student and military discounts are separate 30% coupons, not adiClub tiers. None of it is portal cashback, so a portal click stacks with adiClub, subject to the exclusions below.

What adidas cashback stacks with

The short version: Rakuten, TopCashback and Price.com all pay online, and unusually, Rakuten also pays a separate, much more restrictive rate in physical adidas stores. Rakuten's and TopCashback's online exclusions both name the $1,500 order cap and the 10-unit bulk-order threshold almost identically, evidence both are drawing on the same adidas-supplied feed, though the two lists name different excluded collaborations. Fluz sells a real adidas-branded gift card here, issued by adidas itself rather than a third party.

LayerStacks with portal cashback?Notes
Earning adiClub pointsYesPoints post from adidas's own system; none of the three portals' terms suggest a tracked click interferes with earning them.
The adiClub 15% code, student 30% or military 30% discountNot named by any of the three portals' online exclusionsNone of Rakuten's, TopCashback's or Price.com's online exclusion lists name these discounts specifically source source source, so treat them as untested online rather than safe. In Rakuten's physical stores specifically, a discount code is confirmed void: "In-Store offers not valid for online purchases and cannot be combined with other offers." source.
Rakuten's in-store cash backA separate, more restrictive rate from its online oneRakuten is the only one of the three with a real in-store mechanism, its own rules: "US stores only. Offer not valid at locations in US territories. In-Store offers not valid for online purchases and cannot be combined with other offers. Offer not valid for gift card purchases. Debit card purchases must be processed as credit to be eligible for Cash Back. When using a debit card, do not enter your PIN. Maximum Cash Back of $10 per qualifying transaction. Limit 3 Redemptions per cardholder." source.
A named collaboration releaseNo, at Rakuten and TopCashback, but the two name different collabsRakuten excludes "collaborations such as Edison Chen, Y-3, Fear of God, Bad Bunny, Wales Bonner, Pharrell, Song for the Mute, and Willy Chavarria" source. TopCashback's list overlaps but isn't identical: "gift cards, Y-3, Pharrell x adidas, Human Made, Yeezy and all Premium Co-Branded Collaborations" source. Price.com's shorter exclusions don't mention collaborations either way source.
The Confirmed AppNo, at Rakuten by name"Cash Back is not available on Gift Cards and purchases on the Confirmed App." source. Neither TopCashback's nor Price.com's exclusions mention the Confirmed App source source.
A large or bulk orderNo, at Rakuten and TopCashback, with almost identical thresholdsRakuten: "orders over $1,500 may be subject to review and reversal, and high volume orders as defined by adidas. High volume orders are defined as 10 or more of the same eligible SKU." source. TopCashback: "Purchase of orders totaling more than $1,500." and "Purchase of orders that contain 10 or more of the same item." source. Price.com's exclusions don't mention order size source.
Gift cards, including the Fluz cardNo, at Rakuten and TopCashback by name; the Fluz card is a genuine adidas card hereRakuten excludes "Gift Cards" source and TopCashback excludes "Purchases of gift cards" source; Price.com's shorter online exclusions don't name gift cards source. Unlike some other merchants' Fluz pages on this site, this one really is an adidas-branded card: "Card issuer adidas" source, redeemable "in-store and online" source, so buying one and clicking through a portal on the same order is a pick-one, not a stack.
A second portalNeverOnly one tracking click gets credit; the pillar guide explains why the last click wins.

adidas cashback exclusions and what breaks tracking

Rakuten's and TopCashback's online exclusion lists are close to identical on order size and gift cards, differ on which named collaborations are excluded, and Price.com's own list is much shorter and doesn't overlap with either.

  • Rakuten's online exclusions. "Cash Back is not available on collaborations such as Edison Chen, Y-3, Fear of God, Bad Bunny, Wales Bonner, Pharrell, Song for the Mute, and Willy Chavarria. Cash Back is not available on Gift Cards and purchases on the Confirmed App. Cash Back is not available on orders deemed by adidas to be for reselling purposes, orders over $1,500 may be subject to review and reversal, and high volume orders as defined by adidas. High volume orders are defined as 10 or more of the same eligible SKU." source. Special terms: "Cash Back is available on domestic U.S. orders only. Using coupon codes that are not listed on Rakuten may void Cash Back." source. Posting: "Cash Back will be automatically added to your Rakuten account tomorrow." source.
  • Rakuten's separate in-store terms. "US stores only.
  • TopCashback's exclusions and terms. "Purchases of gift cards, Y-3, Pharrell x adidas, Human Made, Yeezy and all Premium Co-Branded Collaborations." "Use of freight forwarding." "Purchase of orders totaling more than $1,500." "Purchase of orders that contain 10 or more of the same item." "Use of a coupon code not displayed on TopCashback." source. Standard terms: "Cash Back is calculated only on the item(s) price and does not include taxes, shipping or other fees. Cash Back is only eligible on orders shipped to the U.S. Purchases made with the intention of reselling or buying in bulk are ineligible for Cash Back and may be declined." source, plus "To be eligible for Cash Back on all products, you must begin your purchase with an empty shopping cart. Should your Cash Back fail to track automatically, please submit a Missing Cash Back Claim within 100 days of your order." source.
  • Price.com's exclusions, notably shorter than the other two. "Cash Back is not available for Adidas account creation or app install events on Android or iOS and is only offered for online purchases in the US." source. Neither gift cards, collaborations, nor order size are named here; that's a gap in what Price.com states, not confirmation those things are allowed. Cap and timing: "Max Cash Back Per Order: $15" source, purchases showing "pending in 7 hours" source.

What breaks tracking at any store, adidas included (the pillar guide has the portals' own wording on each):

  • A second coupon or cashback extension that fires after the one you're earning with, so its click is the last one adidas sees.
  • A coupon code not listed on the portal you're using, at Rakuten and TopCashback by name.
  • Buying a named collaboration release, at Rakuten and TopCashback, though the two name different collabs.
  • An order over $1,500 or containing 10 or more of the same item, at Rakuten and TopCashback with nearly identical thresholds.
  • Shopping through the Confirmed App, at Rakuten by name.
  • Using freight forwarding, at TopCashback by name.
  • Paying with a gift card, or buying one, at Rakuten and TopCashback.
  • A return, an exchange or a cancellation, which reverses the commission the cashback was going to be paid from.

How these Adidas numbers were produced

Adidas cashback FAQ

Which portal pays the most for Adidas cashback right now?

Raise, at 10%. That's the rate a returning shopper gets, which is how the table ranks: an "up to" ceiling or a new-customer rate never takes this spot over a lower rate everyone gets.

How long does Adidas cashback take to pay out?

On a click-through portal there are two waits, one after the other: the portal has to confirm the order with Adidas, which mostly tracks Adidas's return window, and then the confirmed balance has to be paid out, which is the portal's own rule. Buying Adidas's gift card through a portal skips the first wait: that cashback is paid when the card is bought.

Is there a minimum payout?

Is adiClub free, and what does the 15% off actually require?

Free to join, confirmed independently by all three portals' editorial source source source. The 15% figure is real but the three portals explain it three different ways: TopCashback calls it a signup welcome bonus source, Rakuten ties it to reaching adiClub's second level during your birthday month source, and Price.com lists it as a standing member benefit with no stated trigger source. We're not resolving that discrepancy by guessing; check your own adiClub account for which one actually applies.

Does adidas pay cashback in physical stores?

Yes, at Rakuten, and it's a separate, more restrictive offer from Rakuten's online rate. Its own in-store terms: "In-Store offers not valid for online purchases and cannot be combined with other offers. Offer not valid for gift card purchases. Debit card purchases must be processed as credit to be eligible for Cash Back. When using a debit card, do not enter your PIN. Maximum Cash Back of $10 per qualifying transaction. Limit 3 Redemptions per cardholder." source. Neither TopCashback's nor Price.com's adidas pages mention an in-store option source source.

Do collaboration releases like Yeezy or Y-3 earn cashback?

Not at Rakuten or TopCashback, though the two portals don't agree on exactly which lines are excluded. Rakuten names "Edison Chen, Y-3, Fear of God, Bad Bunny, Wales Bonner, Pharrell, Song for the Mute, and Willy Chavarria" source, while TopCashback names "Y-3, Pharrell x adidas, Human Made, Yeezy and all Premium Co-Branded Collaborations" source. Price.com's shorter exclusions don't address collaborations at all source, so treat any collab purchase there as untested rather than assumed safe.

Do gift cards ever earn cashback at adidas?

Not from a portal, and here the Fluz card is a genuine adidas gift card rather than a workaround. Rakuten excludes "Gift Cards" source and TopCashback excludes "Purchases of gift cards" source. Fluz's adidas card lists "Card issuer adidas" directly source, redeemable "in-store and online" source for $10 to $500, so buying one and clicking through a portal on the same order is one route or the other, not both.

Is there a minimum order for adidas cashback?

None of Rakuten's, TopCashback's or Price.com's adidas pages states one. Price.com does cap the payout: "Max Cash Back Per Order: $15" source. Posting speed differs: Rakuten adds Cash Back "tomorrow" source, while Price.com shows a purchase "pending in 7 hours" source. Adidas's own adiClub, separately, reports its own free-shipping threshold as none at all: "free standard shipping (no minimum purchase necessary)" source.
