Kohl’s Cashback: Every Portal's Rate, Compared

The best Kohl’s cashback we found is 7.5% at Fluz, read from Fluz's own Kohl’s page.

How to get Kohl’s cashback, step by step

  1. Open Fluz's Kohl’s page and buy a gift card for the amount of your Kohl’s order. The rate as we last read it was 7.5%. Instant. The cashback lands in the Fluz balance when the gift card is bought.
  2. Pay for your Kohl’s order with that gift card, the same way you'd use any Kohl’s gift card.
  3. Buy only what you'll spend. The cashback is paid when you buy the card, and a card balance you never use is money parked at Kohl’s, not savings.
  4. Get paid. Fluz pays by: Bank transfer (ACH), PayPal or Venmo, or spent in the app on more gift cards. Without a US bank account, PayPal or Venmo. Minimum: $15 in lifetime earnings once, then $1 per withdrawal. Timing: On request; 2 to 7 business days. Fluz charges no fee, but passes on any transfer fee it's charged.

Does Kohl's have its own cashback or rewards program?

Yes, two that feed into each other, and the free one pays more than most store programs charge a credit card for. Kohl's Rewards is the everyday program: a percentage of what you spend, converted once a month into Kohl's Cash. Kohl's Cash is also the thing you earn during the store's sale events, at $10 for every $50. Both spend like store credit with a short clock on them. Each piece below is quoted from Kohl's own pages, with what it's actually worth to you.

  • Kohl's Rewards, the free 5%. "Members will earn Kohl's rewards at a rate of 5% of Qualifying Purchases every day at a Kohl's store or online." source. The rewards page's phrase for it is "every day, any way you pay as a Kohl's Rewards member." source. What counts: "Qualifying purchases are calculated after all coupons and/or discounts are applied, before shipping, fees, or tax is imposed, and do not include the purchase of gift cards at Kohl's" source. Kohl's has to know it's you, "by logging into your linked Kohl's Rewards Account on Kohls.com or the Kohl's App prior to making a purchase via those channels" or in a store "providing your phone number or email address that is associated with your Kohl's Rewards Account or Kohl's Rewards Identification Number at in-store checkout" source. A guest checkout earns nothing. The balance moves fast, "Your earnings will be added to your Kohl's Rewards balance within 48 hours of your purchase, unless otherwise stated." source, though the terms give Kohl's room: "Your Kohl's Rewards Account may require up to 60 days to reflect the accrual of all Kohl's rewards activity" source
  • How the 5% turns into Kohl's Cash, and how fast it expires. "When your Kohl's rewards balance is equal to or exceeds $5 as of the last day of the month, then a digital Kohl's Cash coupon will be activated and issued in $5 increments on or about the first day of the following month" and "Each Kohl's Cash coupon shall expire 30 days after issuance and may be redeemed only prior to its expiration." source. So $100 spent in March becomes a $5 coupon on April 1 that's gone by May. Anything under $5 waits: "Any remaining Kohl's rewards balance that does not meet the $5 activation threshold (after the Kohl's Cash coupon has been issued) will carry forward" but "If your Kohl's Rewards Balance is less than $5 for more than 12 months, then it will automatically expire." source
  • Event Kohl's Cash, $10 for every $50. This is the one everyone knows, and it isn't tied to membership: "all Kohl's customers, including Members and non-Members, are eligible to earn $10 in Kohl's Cash for every $50 spent on Qualifying Purchases at a Kohl's store or online, in a single transaction during the stated Earn Event window" and "Event Kohl's Cash will be earned in addition to the Every Day Kohl's Rewards that Members earn on Qualifying Purchases." source. It's figured after coupons: "Kohl's Cash is earned on the purchase amount after all applicable discounts are applied and before tax is applied." and "Qualifying customer purchases exclude the purchase of Sephora at Kohl's merchandise or Gift Cards." source. Online, "you'll get your Kohl's Cash via email within 24 hours" and "Make sure to save this email, since you won't be sent another email containing your Kohl's Cash." source. Then it's a coupon with dates on it: "The redemption window for Kohl's Cash coupons will be 30 days from issuance of the Kohl's Cash coupon." source
  • What Kohl's Cash can't buy, and the order it comes off in. "Kohl's Cash may not be redeemed (1) to purchase Sephora at Kohl's merchandise; (2) to purchase Kohl's Cares® cause merchandise or other charitable items; (3) to purchase gift cards; (4) as price adjustments on prior purchases; (5) to reduce a Kohl's Credit Card, Kohl's Rewards Visa, or any third-party charge account balance; or (6) to pay for any services or fees, including taxes and shipping." source. It does stack with coupons: "Coupon can be redeemed during the stated redeem window with any other coupon." source. The order matters for the math: "Kohl's Cash coupons and other dollar-off discounts will be applied prior to percent-off total purchase discounts/coupons." source, so a 20% coupon takes 20% off what's left after the Kohl's Cash, not off the full price. "Kohl's Cash® is not legal tender. No cash back." source
  • The Kohl's Card and the Kohl's Rewards Visa. Cardholders earn more, but only when the card pays: "Members who are also Kohl's Credit Cardholders and Kohl's Rewards Visa Cardholders will earn Kohl's rewards at a rate of 7.5% of Qualifying Purchases every day at a Kohl's store or online when made with their Kohl's Credit Card or Kohl's Rewards Visa linked to their Kohl's Rewards Account" and "If a Qualifying Purchase is made at a Kohl's store or online using a form of tender other than a linked Kohl's Credit Card or Kohl's Rewards Visa, then Kohl's rewards will be earned at a rate of 5% of the transaction subtotal for Qualifying Purchases" source. You apply once for either: "We will consider you for both the Kohl's Rewards® Visa® and the Kohl's Card. If approved, you will receive one of these cards." source. The sign-up coupon is one use: "40% COUPON IS VALID ON QUALIFYING PURCHASES FOR ONE TRANSACTION WITH YOUR NEW KOHL'S CARD WITHIN 30 DAYS OF CREDIT AVAILABILITY." and "Coupon cannot be used in conjunction with other percent-off coupons, including age-specific discounts." source. Shipping is the other perk: "Kohl's Card cardholders achieve Most Valued Customer (MVC) status after spending $600 on purchases at Kohl's stores or Kohls.com within a calendar year using their Kohl's Card." and "Once achieved, MVC status is effective through December 31 of the following calendar year giving MVC Kohl's Card cardholders monthly free shipping opportunities." source. The Visa earns away from Kohl's, "3% in Kohl's rewards on purchases at gas stations, 2% in Kohl's rewards on purchases made at grocery stores and 1% in Kohl's rewards on all other purchases everywhere Visa is accepted" source, paid in the same expiring Kohl's Cash. The card page prints no interest rate; the Visa is "offered by Capital One, N.A." source, and the rate is in the card agreement you see when you apply.
  • Sephora at Kohl's and Kohl's Cares, the two carve-outs. "Kohl's Cash® cannot be earned or redeemed on Sephora at Kohl's purchases, and Kohl's Cash® can only be earned, but not redeemed, on Kohl's Cares® purchases. For Kohl's Rewards® members, you can earn, but not redeem, Kohl's rewards on Sephora at Kohl's and Kohl's Cares® purchases." source. So a Sephora order earns the 5% but can't be paid for with it, and the same page says the beauty counter takes no coupons either.

Put together: the free tier is 5% back on everything, paid as $5 coupons that arrive on the first of the month and expire 30 days later. The card lifts that to 7.5% only on orders the card pays for, and its real value is the one-time 40% coupon and the free-shipping months. Event Kohl's Cash is an extra $10 on $50 during earn windows, on the same short clock. The portal cashback below is the only one of these that comes back as money instead of a Kohl's coupon.

What Kohl's cashback stacks with

The short version: Kohl's is built for stacking on its own side, and Rakuten, TopCashback and Price.com, the three portals whose Kohl's terms this page quotes, go along with most of it. Kohl's Rewards and portal cashback stack, since none of their Kohl's terms name the program. Coupons stack at Rakuten, only TopCashback's own codes at TopCashback, and only up to 20% off at Price.com. The one thing all three push back on is spending Kohl's Cash: Rakuten pays on the rest of the order, TopCashback voids the whole order, and Price.com says it's "not eligible" without saying which. Paying with a gift card, which is what the Fluz route is, is excluded at Price.com and not named by the other two.

LayerStacks with portal cashback?Notes
Kohl's coupons and promo codesYes at Rakuten; at TopCashback only its own codes; at Price.com only up to 20% offKohl's side first: Kohl's Cash "can be redeemed during the stated redeem window with any other coupon" source, and Rakuten's editorial says "The Kohl's system allows you to use up to four promo codes at once." source, a number no Kohl's page we quote states. TopCashback excludes "Use of a coupon code not displayed on TopCashback." source, and its editorial says the same in plain words: "Of course, Kohl's coupons can also be found on the store website (though they may not be combinable with Cash Back)." source. Price.com draws a line at the size of the discount: "Use of a coupon exceeding 20% off may void Cash Back eligibility." source, which the 40% new-card coupon crosses. Percent-off coupons don't stack with each other at Kohl's, "Coupon cannot be used in conjunction with other percent-off coupons, including age-specific discounts." source, and "Coupons cannot be used for or on price adjustments; payments on a Kohl's credit card account; taxes; shipping or handling fees; gift cards; Kohl's Cares® cause or other charitable items; Sephora at Kohl's; and/or any other categories and brands of merchandise identified as coupon ineligible in store or online." source
Sale prices and clearanceYesA sale price is still a price; TopCashback pays on "the item(s) price" source. Kohl's itself lists "Ongoing sales and clearance deals" among the things to combine Kohl's Cash with source. The catch with clearance is the price adjustment, covered below.
Kohl's Rewards, the 5% or 7.5%YesKohl's pays rewards on the subtotal and the portal pays on the tracked order; neither knows about the other, and none of the Kohl's terms at Rakuten, TopCashback or Price.com name the program. TopCashback's editorial sends you to join it: "Not only is it free to join, but it guarantees 5% rewards on every purchase that'll later be converted into Kohl's Cash." source. Fluz's Kohl's article puts its card in the same stack, "Stack your gift card with Kohl's promo codes, seasonal deals, and Kohl's Rewards points for bigger savings." source, though Kohl's Rewards has no points; it's a dollar balance. Be signed in when you check out, or the 5% never posts.
Spending Kohl's CashRakuten: on the rest of the order. TopCashback: no, it voids the order. Price.com: not eligibleRakuten's exclusion is the portion: "Part of your order paid for with Kohl's Cash" source. TopCashback's is the act: "Use of Kohl's Cash." source, and its editorial spells out the result, "Unfortunately, using your Kohl's Cash will invalidate your Cash Back." source. Price.com's line is "Kohl's Cash is also not eligible for Cash Back." source, which doesn't say whether it means the portion or the order; plan on the order. The clean way through: spend Kohl's Cash on its own order, and click through the portal for the order you're paying for in full.
Earning event Kohl's CashYesIt's a coupon Kohl's issues after the order, and none of the Kohl's terms at Rakuten, TopCashback or Price.com mention earning it. Kohl's pays it to everyone, "including Members and non-Members" source, "on the purchase amount after all applicable discounts are applied and before tax is applied" source. The portal's cashback is on the tracked order. The two never meet at checkout, so both land.
A price adjustmentNot named by Rakuten, TopCashback or Price.com; Kohl's reduces its own rewardsRakuten's editorial describes the window: "If you buy something at full price or on sale and it gets marked down within 14 days of your purchase date, you can get the difference refunded." with "clearance items and buy-one-get-one deals are excluded" source. Kohl's side: "If merchandise from a qualifying purchase that earns Kohl's rewards is returned or price adjusted, the value of the earned Kohl's rewards and/or Kohl's Cash® coupon will be reduced to reflect any unearned value." source, and coupons aren't valid on adjustments source. None of those three portals' Kohl's terms say how a partial refund is handled source source source; expect the tracked amount to be corrected down at the least.
The Kohl's Card, and any other rewards cardYesThe card's rewards land on the subtotal and the portal's cashback on the tracked order; none of the Kohl's terms at Rakuten, TopCashback or Price.com name the card. It's also the only tender that earns the 7.5%, per the terms quoted in the program section source. Watch the coupon that comes with it: TopCashback lists "Extra 40% off when you apply for Kohl's Card. See Kohls.com for details." as a deal on its page source, while Price.com's 20% line would void that order source. Any other card's rewards stack the same way; the pillar guide covers how.
Apple Pay, PayPal and other walletsNo at Rakuten for Apple Pay, Masterpass and Visa Checkout; not named by TopCashback or Price.comRakuten excludes "Purchases made with Masterpass, Visa Checkout or Apple Pay" source, so at Rakuten, pay with the card itself. TopCashback's and Price.com's Kohl's terms don't mention a payment method source source. For the Kohl's Rewards Visa's own earning, the terms warn that "Purchases made through third-party payment accounts, mobile or wireless card readers, mobile or digital wallets or similar technology may not receive a higher (or any) percentage reward, depending on how the technology is set up to process the transaction." source
Gift cards, including the Fluz cardBuying one: no at Rakuten, TopCashback or Price.com. Paying with one: no at Price.com; not named by Rakuten or TopCashbackRakuten excludes "Gift Cards" source and TopCashback "Purchases of gift cards" source, both as things you buy. Price.com goes further: "gift cards or purchases made using gift cards" source, so a Fluz card and a Price.com click don't stack at Kohl's. Rakuten and TopCashback don't say either way, and we don't turn silence into a yes. On Kohl's side, the 5% is earned "any way you pay" source, so a Fluz-paid order still earns Kohl's Rewards at the member rate; only the card rate needs the card. Fluz's own cashback lands when you buy the card, before Kohl's sees the order. Online, "During checkout, look under Do you have a Kohl's Gift Card." source
Sephora at Kohl'sPortal cashback yes; Kohl's coupons and Kohl's Cash noTopCashback's editorial: "Although Kohl's coupons can't be applied toward your beauty purchases, you can still earn Cash Back through TopCashback." source, and its FAQ: "No, Kohl's Cash is not accepted on Sephora purchases." source. Kohl's own rule is in the program section: Kohl's Cash is neither earned nor spent there, coupons don't apply, and Kohl's Rewards are earned but can't be redeemed source. Rakuten's and Price.com's Kohl's terms don't mention Sephora source source.
A second portalNeverOnly one tracking click gets credit, and TopCashback makes a double attempt fail outright: "To be eligible for Cash Back on all products, you must begin your purchase with an empty shopping cart." source. The pillar guide explains why the last click wins.

Kohl's cashback exclusions and what breaks tracking

The Kohl's exclusion lists at Rakuten, TopCashback and Price.com overlap almost item for item, and they're brand lists, not department lists: Amazon products, Apple, Beats, Google, JLab, Crocs, BISSELL, video game systems, jewelry from $2,000 up, Kohl's Cares merchandise and gift cards, with KitchenAid and NutriBullet added at TopCashback and Price.com and Nintendo at Price.com. Everything else on the site, Sephora included, tracks. The thing that actually voids orders at Kohl's is a coupon: Kohl's Cash at TopCashback, anything over 20% off at Price.com. The Fluz card doesn't check what's in the cart, but Price.com won't pay on an order it paid for.

  • Rakuten's exclusions. "Cash Back is not available on" "Amazon products", "Crocs", "Gift Cards", "Jewelry items with an original price of $2,000 or more", "Kohl's Cares Merchandise", "Part of your order paid for with Kohl's Cash", "Purchases made with Masterpass, Visa Checkout or Apple Pay", "Video Game Systems and gaming products", "Beats, JLab, Apple products", "BISSELL" and "Google products" source. It posts quickly: "Cash Back will be automatically added to your Rakuten account tomorrow." source. Getting paid: "Get paid via PayPal or check as soon as 15 days of your first purchase. Then get paid quarterly." source. Its Kohl's page prints no missing-cashback deadline and no returns line, so if an order doesn't show, file the claim as soon as you notice.
  • Where Rakuten's editorial disagrees with Kohl's. It says "For every 100 points you earn, you'll receive a $5 reward added directly to your account." source; Kohl's Rewards has no points, it's a dollar balance issued "in $5 increments on or about the first day of the following month" source. It says of Kohl's Cash "there are no brand exclusions when redeeming your rewards" source; Kohl's lists Sephora at Kohl's, Kohl's Cares and gift cards as places it can't be spent source. Its "up to four promo codes" is its own count. Its MVC line matches Kohl's: "You achieve the status when you spend $600 or more in a single year using your store credit card." source. The exclusions block is what Rakuten will hold you to; the editorial is a guide.
  • TopCashback's gate and terms. Exclusions: "Purchases of gift cards, gaming systems and consoles, jewelry (priced at $2,000+), Apple, Beats, Google, Amazon, KitchenAid, Crocs, JLab, BISSELL, Nutribullet and Kohl's Cares products." "Use of Kohl's Cash." "Use of a coupon code not displayed on TopCashback." source. Terms: "Cash Back is calculated only on the item(s) price and does not include taxes, shipping or other fees." "Cash Back earned cannot exceed the total purchase amount." "To be eligible for Cash Back on all products, you must begin your purchase with an empty shopping cart." "Should your Cash Back fail to track automatically, please submit a Missing Cash Back Claim within 100 days of your order." source. Its page opens with a browser warning: "With this Safari browser, we cannot guarantee that your Cash Back will track for this retailer. Please use an alternative browser on your device (e.g. Chrome) to get Cash Back." source. On when it shows: "Your Cash Back appears in your account within 7 days of your purchase, but it usually isn't payable or withdrawable right away." source. Its editorial is dated "Last Updated: April 2026" source.
  • Price.com. "Cash Back is not available on Amazon products, Crocs, gift cards or purchases made using gift cards, jewelry originally priced over $2,000, Kohl's Cares merchandise, video game systems and accessories, and products from Bissell, Beats, JLab, Nintendo, NutriBullet, KitchenAid, Apple, and Google. Use of a coupon exceeding 20% off may void Cash Back eligibility. Kohl's Cash is also not eligible for Cash Back. All purchases must be made through Kohl's U.S. website." source. There's a ceiling: "Max Cash Back Per Order:" "$15" source. Timing: "Purchases will typically show in your wallet as pending in 6 hours." and "Cash Back will be added to your wallet in approximately 90 days." source. Its steps say where the order has to happen: "Complete your purchase in the Kohl's tab." source
  • Fluz's card limits. Cards run "from $10–$500" and are "redeemable in-store and online" source. The spec block: "Non-refundable", "Does not expire", "Non-reloadable", issuer Kohl's source. The card terms Fluz prints are Kohl's own: "Except where required by law, this card is non-refundable, may not be redeemed for cash or for the purchase of Gift Cards and cannot be applied to any Kohls Charge account balance." "This card has no expiration date." "The unused value of lost, stolen or damaged cards can be replaced with required proof of purchase." source. On a return, "the funds will be refunded to a gift card with that merchant" source, so a returned Fluz-paid order comes back as Kohl's credit, not cash. "Fluz does not charge any fees to purchase a gift card." source. In a store, "Show your barcode and PIN to cashier to scan." and in the app, "During checkout, tap Gift Card" source. Remember the Price.com rule above: this route and Price.com don't combine.
  • What Kohl's Rewards and Kohl's Cash don't cover. Rewards skip gift cards: qualifying purchases "do not include the purchase of gift cards at Kohl's" source. Event Kohl's Cash skips "Sephora at Kohl's merchandise or Gift Cards" source. The six things Kohl's Cash can't be spent on are in the program section. Inactivity closes the account: Kohl's may close "any Kohl's Rewards Account(s) that have not been used to purchase merchandise at a Kohl's store within the preceding 12 consecutive months" source. And it's one account per person: "Each Member may have only one Kohl's Rewards Account, which may be associated with only one phone number and one email address." source
  • Returns and timing. Kohl's pulls its own rewards back on a return, per the line quoted in the table, and handles spent Kohl's Cash two ways: "If you've already used your Kohl's Cash, you'll get a refund in the form of your original payment, minus the amount of the Kohl's Cash Coupon you spent." and for merchandise bought with it, "We'll return the value of the Kohl's Cash Coupon to you as Return Kohl's Cash, valid for 30 days from the date of your return." source. Among the three portals quoted here, TopCashback's page says "any items that are returned will disqualify your Cash Back" source; Rakuten's and Price.com's Kohl's terms don't say, so expect the same. The return window itself isn't on any Kohl's page we quote here; TopCashback's FAQ puts it at "For purchases made with a Kohl's Card, the return window is 120 days. For all other purchases, the return window is 90 days." with "Sephora products, premium electronics and watches have a shorter, 30-day return policy." source, and Price.com's FAQ says the same 90, 120 and 30 source. Kohl's own returns page is the one that governs; check it before you count on 90 days. Price.com's "approximately 90 days" source is the wait before you can spend any of it.

What breaks tracking at any store, Kohl's included (the pillar guide has the portals' own wording on each):

  • A second coupon or cashback extension that fires after the one you're earning with, so its click is the last one Kohl's sees.
  • Starting on one device and finishing on another, including clicking through on a laptop and buying in the Kohl's app. The click has to happen where the checkout happens.
  • Ad blockers, cookie blocking, and on TopCashback's own warning, Safari.
  • Items already in the cart before the click. TopCashback states the empty-cart rule outright on its Kohl's page.
  • Spending Kohl's Cash on the order, at TopCashback and as far as its page says at Price.com.
  • A promo code from somewhere other than the portal's page at TopCashback, or one over 20% off at Price.com.
  • Paying through Apple Pay, Masterpass or Visa Checkout at Rakuten.
  • A return, an exchange or a cancellation, which reverses the commission the cashback was going to be paid from.

How these Kohl’s numbers were produced

Kohl’s cashback FAQ

Which portal pays the most for Kohl’s cashback right now?

Fluz, at 7.5%. That's the rate a returning shopper gets, which is how the table ranks: an "up to" ceiling or a new-customer rate never takes this spot over a lower rate everyone gets.

How long does Kohl’s cashback take to pay out?

On a click-through portal there are two waits, one after the other: the portal has to confirm the order with Kohl’s, which mostly tracks Kohl’s's return window, and then the confirmed balance has to be paid out, which is the portal's own rule. Buying Kohl’s's gift card through a portal skips the first wait: that cashback is paid when the card is bought.

Is there a minimum payout?

Does Kohl's cashback work in the Kohl's app or in a store?

Kohl's own rewards do; the portal click doesn't. Kohl's Rewards are earned "every day at a Kohl's store or online" source, and Kohl's Cash "in store, at a kiosk, on Kohls.com or with the Kohl's App" source. A portal tracks a browser session: Price.com's own steps say "Complete your purchase in the Kohl's tab." source, and TopCashback needs "an empty shopping cart" in the session it tracks source. Rakuten's Kohl's terms don't mention the app or stores either way source. Fluz is the exception because it's a payment, not a click: its cards are "redeemable in-store and online" source, with steps for the app, "During checkout, tap Gift Card", and the register, "Show your barcode and PIN to cashier to scan." source. So if the app or the store is how you shop Kohl's, Fluz plus Kohl's Rewards is the stack that fits.

Can I spend Kohl's Cash and still get cashback?

Depends on the portal, and it's the biggest difference between Rakuten, TopCashback and Price.com at this store. Rakuten pays on the rest of the order; its exclusion is "Part of your order paid for with Kohl's Cash" source. TopCashback doesn't pay at all: "Use of Kohl's Cash." is an exclusion, and its editorial says "using your Kohl's Cash will invalidate your Cash Back" source. Price.com says "Kohl's Cash is also not eligible for Cash Back." source without saying whether that's the portion or the order. The clean move is two orders: one where the Kohl's Cash does the paying, and one you click through for and pay in full. Kohl's Cash has a 30-day window source, so there's time to split them. Fluz doesn't care either way; its cashback landed when you bought the card.

Can I use a Kohl's coupon and still get cashback?

At Rakuten, yes; its Kohl's page lists no coupon rule, and its FAQ tells you to "activate Cash Back before checking out" with your codes applied source. At TopCashback, only a code from its page: "Use of a coupon code not displayed on TopCashback." is an exclusion source. At Price.com, only up to 20%: "Use of a coupon exceeding 20% off may void Cash Back eligibility." source, which rules out the 40% new-card coupon there, and any cardholder coupon above that line. Whatever the portal, Kohl's applies one percent-off coupon per order, "Coupon cannot be used in conjunction with other percent-off coupons, including age-specific discounts." source, and the coupon-ineligible brands still earn the cashback: "While not all brands are coupon eligible at Kohl's, you can still earn and redeem Kohl's Cash® and Kohl's Rewards® on most of your merchandise purchases." source, and the portal never looks at the brand unless it's on its exclusion list.

Does Sephora at Kohl's earn cashback?

From the portals, yes; from Kohl's, only the rewards. TopCashback says it outright: "Although Kohl's coupons can't be applied toward your beauty purchases, you can still earn Cash Back through TopCashback." source. Sephora isn't on Rakuten's or Price.com's Kohl's exclusion lists either source source. Kohl's side: "Kohl's Cash® cannot be earned or redeemed on Sephora at Kohl's purchases" and "you can earn, but not redeem, Kohl's rewards on Sephora at Kohl's and Kohl's Cares® purchases" source, and coupons list "Sephora at Kohl's" as ineligible source. A Fluz card works there; TopCashback's FAQ on using a Kohl's gift card at Sephora is "Yes, you can, but only on Sephora products at Kohl's." source. So for makeup, the stack is a portal click or a Fluz card, plus the 5% in Kohl's Rewards, and nothing else.

Is the Kohl's Card worth it for the rewards?

For the rewards alone, it's 2.5 points of difference: 7.5% instead of 5%, and only "when made with their Kohl's Credit Card or Kohl's Rewards Visa" source. Both rates come back as Kohl's Cash that expires 30 days after it's issued, so the extra is worth having only if you'll be back at Kohl's within the month. What the card actually buys is the one-time 40% coupon, "FOR ONE TRANSACTION WITH YOUR NEW KOHL'S CARD WITHIN 30 DAYS OF CREDIT AVAILABILITY" source, the "exclusive cardholder savings and discounts" and "special anniversary offer every year" the card page promises without numbers source, and after $600 in a calendar year, "monthly free shipping opportunities" source. The card page doesn't print its interest rate; read the card agreement in the application before you decide, because a carried balance costs more than 2.5% fast. A portal pays on the same order with no card, and a general rewards card pays in money instead of Kohl's Cash.

Is there a minimum order for Kohl's cashback?

None of Rakuten's, TopCashback's or Price.com's Kohl's pages states one, and Price.com states a maximum instead, "$15" per order source. TopCashback pays on "the item(s) price" only, never "taxes, shipping or other fees" source, Rakuten pays out "via PayPal or check as soon as 15 days of your first purchase" source, and a Fluz card starts at "$10" source. The threshold you'll feel is shipping. Rakuten's page says "Kohl's offers free shipping on orders of $49 or more." source and TopCashback's says "Get free standard shipping with a minimum purchase of $49. Anything less will accrue a shipping cost of $8.95." source; the fee figure is TopCashback's, not from a Kohl's page we quote. Store pickup skips it, and TopCashback's editorial says the cashback survives: "select in-store pickup at checkout and complete your online order. That way you don't lose out on your Kohl's Cash Back." source. Cardholders past $600 get the monthly free-shipping events instead.
